J G Healy, Marketing Manager
J G Healy is an economics graduate from UCC and has worked in the USA for 17 years. His career has included senior marketing positions with leading advertising agencies (e.g., Account Director with Ogilvy & Mather). There he implemented award winning direct and digital marketing campaigns for small businesses right through to Fortune 500 companies.

Jock Howson, Business Development Director
Jock Howson worked for many years for Sun Microsystems in both the UK and European Markets, managing channel partners and distribution operations, latterly operating as Sales Manager for Sun's Networking and Communications Division for Northern Europe and Benelux. After seven years of 100% over target performance, Jock moved to Veritas (Now part of Symantec) as Business Development Director EMEA, where he set-up and managed their European channel operations.

Jock has also managed his own training and consultancy company since 1995, has a degree in English and Philosophy and a Diploma in Business Management. Jock has written two novels and was editor at Fish Publishing for five years.

Derek Burke, Sales and Alliances Director
Derek Burke is responsible for Sales and Alliances, including the Partner Programme. A serial entrepreneur and business owner, Mr. Burke is a skilled business consultant responsible for translating client business issues into actionable solutions. Mr. Burke was a Director of EireBusiness International (Domona Ltd.) and served previously for 6 years as sales director for Foundation Marketing Ltd. Derek has a proven sales and business background, and has served in several fields both in retail and IT sectors for over 10 years. He specialises in launching and marketing new products and services using the Web.

Stephen Collins, Director of Online Media
A leading expert in web site design and eMarketing, Mr. Collins has held a number of high-tech and senior technical positions over the past 10 years. Mr. Collins served for over 7 years with Digisoft.tv, a leading global provider of carrier class solutions to the IPTV and Media & Entertainment markets. He has also helped define technologies for some of the top names in high tech including Sun Microsystems and Ericsson, as well as numerous forward-looking mid-size businesses. He holds qualifications in Computer Science from Cork Institute of Technology, where he graduated with first class honours.

History

CorkBusiness.com has been managed by the same team for many years, serving as both a Cork business directory and as a destination for web marketing services. Our goal is to provide the definitive online presence for Cork businesses, serving as a free, up-to-date business directory, and a source for cost-effective eMarketing and eBusiness services to the business community.

Today, CorkBusiness.com is owned and operated by AllEire Ltd. AllEire is a new company with a long history. We began as a joint venture between Specific Impulse Inc., a US-based company with close ties to County Cork, and Macroom-based EireBusiness, the original developer of the AllEire database.

EireBusiness developed the original directory through its purchase of data from ReachSoft Ltd, and enhanced and updated the data thanks in part to EU grants in 2005-6 through the South Cork Enterprise Board.

AllEire was formed by several of the former EireBusiness directors, and is currently funded by private investors in the US and Ireland. We are also the recipient of an Enterprise Ireland grant in 2009.
